Phoenix
The Queen of Fire,
We bow our heads.
Her majestic wings casting,
Shadows.
Over us.
She holds fire,
It drips from her feathers;
Golden.
Liquid Gold.
Her blood is flame.
It smells of
Embers
And coal, burning on a snowy night.
Her rough skin
Seems scaly and firm.
Her piercing call echoes through the night.
Her eternal gaze fixed on you,
As she bursts into flames.
And darkness falls.
But in the gloom,
A small voice calls, and
Hope
Is found,
In the dead of night.

Pencil
I touch my lead to the paper,
Softly, I make my mark.
I’m sharpened
Away.
Bits and pieces,
Everyday.
Grubby fingers clutch my yellow stem
Leaving fingerprints
That will never come off.

Black tentacle of death
Single eye boring into the hearts of man
Scythe-like arms
It rampages, and slaughters innocent
And guilty alike
An animal slithering around the world
Wreaking havoc across the land.

Unicorn
It soars through the air
You can see its silky white hair
It resides on a cloud that's so fluffy and white
It dances on rainbows
And leaps over the moon

Pegasus
A gallop of hooves clatter the ground;
Gradually, the trot diminishes and dies.
A new sound then takes flight;
Wings
Beat rapidly in the howling wind.

Flying to reach its destination of paradise
Above heaven.

Eraser’s Lament
When I was taken off the shelf
My heart swelled with pride and glee.
I thought that I was chosen
‘Cause I was the best, yes siree.
To my utmost disappointment,
The first day I was free
I was pained with a massive headache
And needed aspirin greatly.
As time progressed, my hair
Quickly got chopped off me
The next few days, my head was bald
And smooth like the blue sea.
Oh, I wonder how my family lives
Yet grows through this torment.
My once-erect back bone
Now stands hunched and bent.
I’m a minute piece of rubber
And I really despise my duty
To rub and make lead vanish,
Soon, I’ll disintegrate into the p---

A Flower’s Life
I
Emerge in the shadows, whispering
Bleak winter slipping away
I push against the blanket of velvety snow
Which is melting, departing, leaving my life.
And the first spotting of a golden ball
Smiling warmly down at me.
Its caressing touch
Of lemon rays
Brush against my face.
The first bloomings of spring arise.
A carnival of colors
Dance and play.
Spinning on a merry-go-round
As I stay, rooted to the dirt.
A rainbow fills the sky
As the fiery star turns from amber to crimson.
The gargantuan sphere of light gradually disappears.
Aurora
Awakens me as the heavens above
Are painted exquisitely
By an artist.
Hues of coral, titian, fuschia
Decorate the ceiling.
Abruptly
The sky opens up,
Light streaming downward.
Blazing heat pours onto me.
I quench for rain, however.
Spring is full
And begins to spin its
Chrysalis.
Soon after,
The cocoon rips with such force;
Summer is born.
The intense gaze of the burning source
Greens my reaching arms
To a royal emerald.
My gorgeous calyx
Brightly stands out in the luscious grasses.
The lilac in the roots progressively
Turns lavender,
And darkens to plum.
What ever could be compared to such beauty?
A chilly breeze
Startles me.
Leaves whoosh
And turn into
Dynamic color.
They nonchalantly cascade
Toward the ground.
The tidings of autumn
Greet me.
Howling winds violently
Push their way through.
The atmosphere,
frigid and bitter,
doesn’t suit me.
Weaker I feel than ever
When the cold returns once again.
Jack Frost has arrived,
Casting the world
With a wintery sensation.
My frail outline
Slowly vanishes
As I die, wilting.

Everyone thinks I'm insane
But I will destroy all humanity
All the roads, the bridges, the trains.
I am furious at the world
Everyone thinks I'm an evil man

Especially from arrogant Superman.
I am furious at the world
Everyone thinks I'm crazed
